Gernsbacher interviewed on BBC
Leading Edge for Thursday 23rd of February 2006
About 14 minutes into the show about the recent meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science the host interviews Dr. Morton Gernsbacher regarding the commonly held but false belief that autistics are naturally poor at "theory of mind" tasks, that is they can't imagine what others are thinking. Following the interview with Gernsbacher the host interviews a British reporter who shares a thought about people who claim to know the cause of all cases of autism.
One supposes that the reporter means it metaphorically. If so, Autism Diva agrees wholeheartedly.

Autism Diva is thinking of people who need to be taken out and shot.... with lupron, Na-EDTA, paint balls... (good suggestions).
Finally we are "Injecting Humour."
Good on you!

"anyone who says to you "this is the cause of autism" should be taken out and shot!"
